"The intel on this wasn't 100%."

It's been almost a year under this fool of a president. Prayer does not help in getting rid of him. There is no God. Yet, life keeps going so we need to be thankful and happy.

Thanks to the members of Nogizaka46. They may be Japanese, but they are all so fine. It's a joy to watch them idoling. It's a joy to hear them sing. Now it's time to see them live...

Elvis. The Beatles. Rolling Stones. Music is for everyone. Anime and movies. Love. Pretty much everything, but the god damn president.

Most important. I'm just thankful to be alive.

Happy Thanksgiving, folks!

Here we are at the tail end of 2016, a year in which we wish it had ended better. We should try not to dwell on it, but look towards to future. I will fight the future like the X-Files. But let's at this moment be thankful for things...

Usually, the annual Thanksgiving post is a list of things to be thankful for. At this stage of my blogging career, I can't even do that. I'll just keep it short and sweet like my last few posts: I'm thankful for being alive.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

It's been a whirlwind two weeks, but I am home from two weeks in Southeast Asia mainly the Philippines, AKA the Motherland, and Singapore. Fun times with family and friends. Lots of moving about. Never staying in the same house twice except for the wonderful @margeemateo's aunt's. I would like to take the time to thank all who made the past two weeks memorable.

Thanks to Tita Ninfa in Cubao, the lechon capital.
Thanks to Bohol for making me realize how beautiful the Philippine Islands are. The island is like Hawaii, verdent.
Thanks to Rose and Tony Ong for the home base in Metro Manila. Several days we spent there and it was a home away from home.
Thanks to Uncle Paul for the stomach pains. The beer was fine. The girls were pretty. The awkwardness of it all made me want to crawl in a hole and die.
Thanks to Manang Leila for another house to sleep in.
Thanks to Manong Manueal for a peek at some of the exquisite wealth in the PI.
Thanks to Tita Lulu for another look at the 'haves' in the PI.
Thanks to Noel and Lorraine for the tour of Manila and the great Japanese bath off of Roxas Boulevard.

An extra special shout-out/thanks to Margaux for driving me around town. She's the greatest without whom the Philippines would not have been as special. I miss her companionship, and can't wait for it again.

There are not many movies centered around the Thanksgiving holiday. I can only think of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Can you think of any other?

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!

What should we be thankful for?

Most everything! Life is mostly beautiful even if it stinks at this time.

Everyone and everybody, have a safe and joyous thanksgiving!

I don't know what to say.

You've made a fine company.

Thank you.

May the road rise with you on your next adventure.

Best wishes.

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US.

I am thankful for:
Mom and Dad. An older and younger brother. Cousins as close as friends. The next generation nieces and nephews. La Familia de Rad. My faithful blog readers. Objective-C and C++. The GCC. Grep. A great text editor. The Apple Macintosh. Powerbooks, the new Mac Books, Pro and other wise. Beautiful girls. Blondes. Brunettes. Redheads. A pretty girl's smile. Laughing with girls. Girls in glasses. Memories of a girl in glasses. The female body. Legs and a little t'n'a. Ghost stories. Being creeped out by ghost stories. Goosebumps. My bike. The wind in my face while on my bike. 15 mph. Uphills. Downhills. Snow in the winter. Cool autumn mornings. Hot summer days. Long winter nights. The Holidays. Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Calvin and Hobbes. Dub. Downtempo. Ska. Movies. Television. DVDs. Earth. Scandinavia. Iceland. The Blue Lagoon. Paris, France. Barcelona, Spain. Apples and oranges. Mangoes. Ice cream. Coffee. Pizza. Hot dogs. Days off from work. Vacation. The weekend.

Thanksgiving only comes along once a year, and it's the time to spend with friends and family. I hope you have an enjoyable one. Eat turkey until you're full, sleep it off, eat the left overs, and watch television.

And remember to be thankful for the things in your life.
