I didn't even post my Oscar predictions. All I know is that several weeks ago I thought Argo was going to win best picture. After all the awards it has won, I stand by my prediction.
Consider this an open thread for discussion about tonight's ceremony.
Let me hear your thoughts and predictions.

Inside always trying to get back inside
But it's so hard to penetrate pig-thick skin
I'm 'bout as low as I can get
I'd leave but I can't forget
Still I wonder why it, it ain't right?

I love playing Alice In Chains on guitar. Jerry Cantrell has really simple chord progressions that it's not hard to play many of their songs. Even a complete guitar doofus like me can play Alice In Chains. I had my iPhone on yesterday at work and this song, Right Turn, came on. It blew me away. It was like I never heard it before. Did you know that the original cut on the EP had stalwarts of the grunge era singing on it. Besides Layne Staley and Cantrell, there was Chris Cornell and the lead singer of Mudhoney, Mark Arm. Pretty cool.

Snuck in a movie this weekend. I had almost forgotten. Identity Thief really is that forgettable. It's like popcorn - light and forgotten. Funny parts and yet plenty of stupid moments.
Melissa McCarthy is a funny gal. She can do physical comedy like no one else. Jason Bateman is her perfect straight man. Together they brought some heart to the film. They complimented each other well.
Unfortunately, the film was rather flat. In an alternate time, it may have been a different movie. Their was two plot threads that came from this alternate universe. The first was a skip tracer chasing after McCarthy's thief. The second was the Cuban mob after McCarthy. Why either of these were in the film only the original screen writer knows.
The rest of the story outside of these characters was rather nice. Surprising. It also had a heart which you could not see coming from some comedy.
Then you leave the theatre and almost forgot you watched it. We'll be seeing this on FX soon.
3 of 5 stars.

Received an email from Zappos this morning that they had 1 pair of shoes that I wanted in stock. So I clicked the link to purchase. When I put it into my shopping cart, it said that they did not have it in stock any more. Yet, it still said that there was a pair in my size left. Ha!
So here they are mocking me. Making me want to reach into my iPad and straggle them. Come on. If it's there it's there. But don't tell me it is when it isn't. I mean you're computer could've stopped and told me there was none left before I tried to add it to the cart.
Computers can calculate a lot of things.

Let's move those kawaii pictures down the page.
Go.
Go.
Go.
And dance this mess around!
This dude and his jazzmaster makes me want to get that dang Jaguar. I'm absolutely torn between the white and the metallic burnt orange. I wanted white, but that orange just looks cool. Give me another two months.

Ravens are playing in the 'Big Game' tomorrow. They're looking for their second championship. They can do it if they beat the 49ers of San Fran. Here's to hoping they can.
Went to get a t-shirt at the local sports store. Place was packed to the gills. Everyone and their uncle and his kids and neighbors was there trying to get some purple paraphernalia for the 'Big Game.' I grabbed a generic purple Ravens t-shirt and skee-daddled out there as quick as I could. Told the the doorman, "Go, Ravens!" as I walked out.
You would think that I would already have some kind of Ravens paraphernalia, but I don't. Not since a co-worker kept complaining about baseball/Orioles turned me off of truly rooting for the team. The Bucs still hold a place in my heart. They're still my team, but you have to root for the home team. I sure will. Go team, go! Win the 'Big Game!'

Leave it to the Japanese to celebrate that kawaii fashion statement, the twin tails. So instead of Groundhog's Day, February 2 will now be Twin Tails Day. He'll yeah I say. I'm up for that!
Now all we need is Megane Day and Zettai Ryouiki Day.
