I started this post 20 minutes ago trying to figure out something to write about.

Write what you had on your mind.

What would that be? Girls? A girl?

But that's always on your mind.

Not all the time.

I also think about other stuff. Mainly other stuff, because thinking about girls gets you depressed.

Depressed?

Not really. But that is the way I played my cards.

You could never play right. Your 'tell' is just too obvious.

I've finally moved out of my mom's house. All those things I've left behind are removed and gone.

"Wait," you say, "Didn't you already move seven years ago?"

Yes. But I finally started moving things out of my old room to make way for my brother to move in with his family.

It hit me as I took down my nostalgia board. This is all my memories and keepsakes, and they all must be thrown away. That was pretty hard to do. Throw it away. The prom boutonnieres: thrown away. The field day ribbons: trashed. Meg Ryan shrine: down, destroyed, and garbaged. Gone. Those things that are part of me. Gone.

It was the pack rat in me that saved it. I am cursed by this need to keep all minutiae of my life. I guess it happens because of the need to fill my empty life. They are there to remind me of good times I had.

Then there were the junk that I kept because I thought it would come in handy some day. Aren't they all like that for a pack rat? I had magazines about the internet. How to make web pages? How to choose the right ISP? Ha ha! I had old Outside mags, Wired mags, and porn. Threw that away. Then I had to clear the junk drawer. All old wires thrown away. Who knows if it was mine? It could've been CapSwells. I threw away GameBoy games. Old videos. VHS tapes. It all goes.

Still, there's plenty left to throw -- books and clothing. I never know what to do with it. Recycle. I wonder where I can take old books.

These things are going away from my life. I hope I can remember them in my memories.

interesting things there. What's awesome is his weekly "Week in Tokyo,"
which he just shows you around.

Sometimes, the food he puts on there, makes my mouth water. Most
everytime raw fish is presented, I really get the hankering for sushi.
And then the noodles... Mmmm.

We should've gamed it so that we could've gotten The Screaming Blue Messiahs played.

Don't the words, "former president," sound good on fucktard president,
George Bush? It's like the sound of angels singing.

Here we are on this historic day of days. The first African-American
president of this nation. Our hopes are with him and our dreams are
that he'll restore the nation to its former glory -- not perfect, but
civil and just. He'll sweep in and fix things so that the nation begins
to function properly. If he can just get us back to 2000 then we'll be
fine.

I was offered a ticket to today's party, but declined. I'm so lame.
I'll let history sweep past me. I'll view it from afar as a unaffected,
emotionelss observer. I wish some changes would come. If he can just
get us back to 1997 then I'll be fine.

This is bigger than anything we've seen lately. It is like 9/11 but for
the good. We are no longer frightened. We have beaten back evil, and
we will be a force of good.

Let's hope that he does it the right way.
